Alcohol inks are a fascinating and somewhat unpredictable medium.
Using Yupo paper – a recycled, waterproof and tree-free paper – and extra alcohol (90%), I made these interesting patterns.
Small pieces of tile are also a fun medium to use, as seen in the last image in the group.
Watercolour is the first painting medium that I practiced with. I love how they can be layered, the texture you can add with simple items – salt, water, rice, etc.
These pieces are some of my favourite, and I love making patterns with watercolour because of how forgiving it is.
